Contrasting the leadership style of Russian President Vladimir Putin with his own, President Barack Obama believes that he is a leader because of his positioning for the Conference in Paris on Climate Change in December.
Of course, Mr. Obama fails to mention that his leadership did not include getting Congress to go along with his plans. Thus whatever Obama agrees to in Paris can be easily ignored by a future President.
But that is typical of a movement that prizes symbolism over substance.
