Patton on Politicians
Post Scriptus 10/10/16 An intrepid internet sleuth insists that this is not a real Patton quotation because it can not be sourced and the use of the term "liberal Democrat" was anachronistic. Perhaps.
But ruffled readers should be referred to the editor's notes on aphorisms and authenticity. But considering Patton's frustrations at the politics of retaking the Western front during World War II and how he came off on the short end of the stick makes the pearl of wisdom plausible.
