When Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump made his modest proposal to temporarily halt all Muslims from coming to the United States after the San Bernadino shooting, there a flurry of political protestation at such an "unconstitutional" proposal.
Well, Temple Law Professor Jan C. Ting offered countervailing perspective to this "unconstitutional" conclusion. The electorate may decide that a Muslim ban is immoral, unwise or unworkable, but Ting concludes that no kind of immigration restriction is unconstitutional.
