Some consider the Nation’s Capital as “Fantasyland on the Potomac”. Other outsiders are “Fed Up” with the Federal City. It's better to consider D.C. as “the District of Calamity” (sic).

Rep. Renee Elmers on Those Working to Replace Speaker Boehner
While the eleventh hour effort to dump Speaker Boehner does seemed rushed. Yet as General George Patton remarked, a good plan done now is better than the perfect plan done six months later.
Congresswoman Elmers calling her GOP caucus members who want active opposition to Obama the equivalent to "media whores" seems mistaken. Such a label would better suit her general election opponent Clay Aiken rather than Tea Party types.
