Hillary: "It's Raining Lead"

During the Democrats Debate in Flint, Hillary Clinton attacked Republicans in Michigan for not abating the Flint Water Crisis.

While it may be water under a bridge, the dirty water danger was created by a Democrat Flint City Council that switched off the Detroit water system to save money.  And the US EPA was slow to declare that the municipal money savings switch was unsafe.  Of course, the Obama EPA has a muddy record concerning clean water, especially after the Animus River spill on Colorado.

But it's much better Democrat politics to demonize Republicans and deflect any responsibility.

EPA Chief Gina McCarthy on Flint Water

Sad that liberal logic blame shifting goes to Michigan Governor Rick Snyder (R-MI), even though the City Council made the bonehead decision and it was hidden by the US EPA.

But we are expected to cede more of our civil liberties to an authority like the US EPA, which displays incompetence and arrogance.

John Dingell on Keeping Up with the Kardashians

When an official EPA Twitter account sent the message: “I’m now a C-List celebrity in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Come join me and because famous too by playing on iPhone!”, it got the attention of establishment politicians.  While the tweet was probably an automatic message sent by a game app which an EPA employee had on a work phone, it rankled the ire of twenty eight TERM incumbent Representative John Dingell (D-MI 12th).

Dingell's staff tweeted the message that the Dean of the House had no idea what the Kardashians are.  Later, after being briefed, Dingell was only left with more questions.

While Dingell's balliwick has been the Energy and Commerce Committee, this wasteful use of taxpayer dollars should call into question EPA budget issues.

Ted Cruz's Boots Are Made for Walking

While he was not as animated as Pat Caddell''s caustic comments, freshman Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) makes the causal connection between EPA intransigence and economic stagnation at CPAC 2013.  But the Keynote speaking Senator  had some ideas of how to profit from the issue.
