Hugh Laurie's passion for Jazz lead him to record "Didn't It Rain". When promoting his work on The Colbert Report, Laurie postulated that jazz was America's greatest gift to the world. Colbert offered a comedic comeuppance to the mother country.
Some consider the Nation’s Capital as “Fantasyland on the Potomac”. Other outsiders are “Fed Up” with the Federal City. It's better to consider D.C. as “the District of Calamity” (sic).
